An educational activity in nature for schoolchildren aged 7 and over

At Salinas Sailing Club we have extensive experience in organising school days for groups of students from schools and institutes on the island.

The groups are usually around 20 students and the day begins with the presentation of the instructors and a brief introduction to the development of the activity. The crews are then divided into the different boats and we go out to sea from the beach in front of the club.

The main activity consists of a kayak trip through Las Salinas. There are two routes; one towards Cabo des Falcó, to the West, lasting approximately 3 hours, and another, the most recommended and practiced, towards Torre de Ses Portes to the East, lasting on average 2 hours.
On the trip they are accompanied by a motor boat with two instructors.

Halfway through the trip there is a stop for a swim or snorkelling, where students can observe the incredible amount of life that the Ibizan seabed houses. This helps to raise awareness among young people about the need to respect the marine environment.
